Vitalis (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Vitalis mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information, including health-related data, when you use our App.

By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Personal Information

When using our App, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, and other details that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”).

Health Data

If you connect your compatible watch, we will collect health metrics, including:

Systolic blood pressure
Diastolic blood pressure
Heart rate
Blood oxygen
Respiration rate
Heart rate variability (HRV)
Blood glucose levels

Purpose of Collection: We collect your health metrics solely to help you monitor, track, and better understand your health trends over time. This information is not used for advertising or marketing.

Log Data

Like many apps, we collect information that your device sends when you use our App (“Log Data”), which may include:

Device Internet Protocol (IP) address
App version
Pages viewed in the App
Time and date of your visit
Time spent on specific pages
Diagnostic data

We may use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to help us understand usage trends.

How We Use Your Information

We use your Personal Information and Health Data primarily to help you monitor and understand your health metrics over time.
Additional uses include:

Providing and improving the App’s health monitoring features
Analyzing your health data to generate meaningful insights
Communicating with you regarding updates, support, and marketing (if you’ve opted in)
Ensuring security and preventing fraud

We do not sell your Personal Information or Health Data to third parties.

With service providers who assist us in operating the App (e.g., hosting, analytics, health data processing) and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your Personal Information and Health Data.

Your health data is stored securely on our servers located in the United States and protected with industry-standard encryption.
For analysis purposes to support health monitoring, certain health data may be securely transferred to and processed in India by authorized personnel or service providers who are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Regardless of where your data is processed, we apply the same level of protection described in this Privacy Policy.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your Personal Information and Health Data for as long as your account remains active and you continue using the App, or as required by law.

Permissions Required

To function properly, the Vitalis app requests the following permissions:

Bluetooth: To connect with the wearable health monitoring device
Location Access (foreground and background): For accurate emergency location services
Notification Access: To send real-time health alerts and reminders
Health and Fitness Data Access: To collect and display health metrics in-app
Internet Access: To sync health data securely with the monitoring platform

Children’s Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the age of majority in your country), and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information or Health Data from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to remove it.

User Control & Access Rights

You may contact us at any time to request a copy of the Personal Information and Health Data we have about you. We will verify your identity before fulfilling such requests.

Changes to This Policy

This policy is effective as of 08/12/2025. We may update it from time to time. Updates will take effect immediately upon posting. Material changes will be communicated via the email address you provided or through a prominent notice within the App.
